iced cubes

This summer I have been into a FUN iced cube frienzy! It’s such a simple way to jazz up water or iced tea on a budget.

And the FUN iced cubes look so cute in your basic mason jar.

This delicious cinnamon orange iced cubes didn’t last long at our home. They were considered a big treat.

Cinnamon and Orange flavored iced cubes for iced tea or water! So good!

Here’s How to Make the Best Flavored Iced Cubes

  • 1/2  c red cinnamon candies (red hots) – I bought them at Wal-Mart in the candy aisle
  • 3 c of orange juice  – you can use Kool Aid
  • 1/2 c of water

Combine candies and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, simmer and continue to stir until candies are dissolved. There might be some candy residue that you will just scoop out and throw away. Add orange juice and stir. Pour mixture into ice-cube trays. Freeze. Makes 4 dozen.

You can place serving in little baggies for when guest come over.

I plan on making these FUN cinnamon orange iced cubes during the holidays with tea or sprite to make a festive beverage.
