I am always looking for easy but unique appetizers to serve my guests. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t have time to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I’m a teacher by day and full-time blogger in the evenings.
Oh, I forgot I’m a mommy to the cutest kids on this planet, too.
So I was pondering the other evening about how my family and friends always brag about my easy pumpkin dip that I make during the holidays and wanted to make something similar but with a little twist.
My gang adores eggnog, so I decided that I was going to come up with an eggnog cream cheese dip for them to indulge in while we watch a festive holiday movies together. That’s our holiday thang.
I surprised my family with this divine and easy Eggnog Dip after dinner last night. It was such a hit that my kids insisted that we invite our fun neighbors over to enjoy the creamy eggnog cream cheese dip.
Being the ocd mom that I typically am, my daughter knew she needed to make sure her iPad and Barbies were out of the living room before anyone guests entered our home or I might get my panties in a wad. She also took it upon herself to quickly run the Swiffer Sweeper over our hardwood floor because the tree has a tendency to produce sparkles and pine needles everywhere continuously during the holiday season.
She is the one responsible for sweeping the floors with our beloved Swiffer Vac and dusting with the easy to use Swiffer Duster. However, brother adamantly insisted on taking on the quick dusting task. I admit we all love using Swiffer products since we are busy folks. It makes adulting so much easier especially in a pinch.
