American Heritage Education offers a full FREE Homeschool American History Curriculum for K-12. This is not exclusively for homeschoolers, but it’s an excellent resource for anyone interested in American History. This site provides teacher lesson plans, activities, and student books. I like how you can just download and print the section of the book per topic rather than printing the entire book as one given time.

Each resource book includes an introductory essay regarding the curriculum rationale, lesson plans to specifically consider the American heritage themes, and activities in which students assess and analyze their own identities as Americans.
This site can be used as an outline of chronological topics if you prefer to put together your own curriculum. I read somewhere that this curriculum will only be available for FREE for a limited time. I’m not sure how valid that information is, but I recommend you save it on your computer. Just in case.
