Free Homeschool Science Activities and More!

Are you one of those moms that’s not good at science but your kids love it? Don’t feel guilty anymore; there is a solution. And it’s an easy one, too!

Have you neglected teaching science in your homeschool, too?

We have been homeschooling for over 10 years, and, sadly, I have neglected to teach my children science the way they desire and deserve. They are curious little creatures who love hands-on activities, and science is not really my cup of tea. So needless to say, I have concentrated on the other subjects.

Don’t get me wrong–I believe knowing science is imperative to understand the omniscience of our Creator, but it was just a struggle for me.

I was absolutely thrilled to find e-Science Online, a science curriculum that is in-depth, doesn’t require me to know much science, and is multi-level. Neither Creation nor evolution are mentioned in e-Science Curriculum by Super Charged Science, so I can easily add in our Christian beliefs to all lessons.

E-Science Curriculum  has many perks!

<<<<Be sure to enter the generous giveaway below>>>>

  • It contains lessons that are suitable for PreK thru 8th. However, my high schoolers joined in on the fun, too!

My kids love simple science activities.

  • All the topics include science experiments and activities. Many experiments require just everyday household items.
  • The lessons are organized by grade level or topic, which makes the website very easy to navigate.
  • Each unit has lessons plans, objectives and goals, text reading, links to gain more knowledge, a shopping list with all the supplies needed to do all the experiments and lessons, and quizzes. We used the quizzes as oral discussions.

Learn how to make a scientific journal!

  • I love how keeping a simple scientific journal is suggested. Even my little ones love this idea and draw pictures.
  • One of the most helpful resources for me is that the parent or student are able to ask questions about the lessons or experiments on the site, and they are answered that day.
