Planning a couple of crockpot meals this week!  The crock pot is my dear companion.  I love to prepare our supper during lunch time.  It just makes the dinner routine go so much smoother.  So here’s what cooking this week!

 

Labor Day ~ Hamburgers, grilled corn, watermelon, and chips and dip

Tuesday ~ pan-seared chicken, quinoa, turnips, and green beans

Wednesday ~Chicken Chili and cornbread, and cantaloupe

Thursday ~Country Chicken, whole wheat noodles, black eyed peas and mixed veggies

Friday ~Taco Salad, chips and salsa

A few extra items I’m preparing this week..

Granola

Pickled Beets ~ these are wonderful…I add pickling spice..they taste better than pickles

Yogurt ~ first time to make in crock pot, I usually put it in my dehydrator
