Thank you, Sheryl for hosting Faith Lift Friday. It’s so encouraging to me to read what the others are being lead to share each Friday. It’s truly inspiring.

This week I finished reading Corrie Ten Boom that is on my Fall Reading List. Wow! This is a truly amazing woman that lived her life for Christ.

Corrie ten Boom has long been honored by evangelical Christians as an exemplar of Christian faith in action. Arrested by the Nazis along with the rest of her family for hiding Jews in their Haarlem home during the Holocaust, she was imprisoned and eventually sent to the Ravensbruck concentration camp along with her beloved sister, Betsie, who perished there just days before Corrie’s own release on December 31, 1944. Inspired by Betsie’s example of selfless love and forgiveness amid extreme cruelty and persecution, Corrie established a post-war home for other camp survivors trying to recover from the horrors they had escaped. She went on to travel widely as a missionary, preaching God’s forgiveness and the need for reconciliation. Corrie’s devout moral principles were tested when, by chance, she came face to face with one of her former tormentors in 1947. Read more….

She inspired me to forgive my enemies and to live by faith. I encourage you to read this wonderful biography of a woman that truly dedicated herself to Christ and realized that every situation is for the glory of God. Her forgiveness is amazing to me.

I bought this book at Mardels for 1.99. You can also read her biography for free here. I plan to read The Secret Room , too. She has other books that she has written that I can’t wait to indulge in. Also, her books were produced into movies, too. Check out it out at Netflix.

Also, if you are homeschool mommy and think that this would be an awesome lesson and book to read to you children, then check this site out. A unit study on Corrie Ten Boom. My son wanted to read this book when I was finished. This is so perfect. I just love how God always provides.

I want to be a Tramp for the Lord. Who wants to join me?
