Welcome to our home!
You are now entering the entryway
Find a seat and a blanket and get cozy in our family room
My tree is my least favorite decor this year. Between the dog and my sweet curious 1 year old maintaining a tree is hopeless. They continue to remove and eat all my my ornaments daily. Thankfully, I only put out the non-breakable balls and ornaments that were not as sentimentally as most.
The fireplace
My afghan that I made for our new family tradition. I plan on making a new Christmas afghan each year. It’s the primary reason I learned the art of crochet this year.
I made all of us an unique stocking last year.
Our entertainment center
Our Jesse Tree
This is my very favorite Christmas decoration that is very dear to my heart. My mom hand painted this nativity set back in the 70’s. I have always adored it and she gave it to me last year as a surprise.
Pictures do not do this detailed beautiful gift justice that my sweet Mom gave to me
The cute wreath I won at Keno this year. A friend made it.
Welcome to our kitchen ~ our pantry door
Another piece my mom painted for me 11 years ago ~ the tree not the candle holder
Our advent wreath that we light at our candlelight dinner each night during the advent season
Our Christmas dinner plates that we enjoy each season
Thank you stopping by our home here in the South. I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality I was able to provide ~ the best part of the whole visit is that I didn’t have to clean my house. LOL!
Enjoy this special season!
Now go continue Christmas caroling over at Tour of Homes.
looks very festive! well done!
Your tree is lovely – and scotch pine is a fabulous kid and pet deterrent! 🙂
Oh, lovely! It feels like a house just full of holiday cheer. Just beautiful.
Everything is beautiful, even if your tree is kid and dog friendly. I love that you have those legacy pieces in your collection like the nativity, the tree in the kitchen, your afghans and the stockings to pass on… Such precious memories.
I’ll be back to learn more your Jesse Tree is – I hope… :o)
Blessings and thanks for the tour.

Cute! Our tree is in the same mauled condition 🙂
Very nice. Merry Christmas!
I love your decorations, especially the tree that your mom painted for you! It reminds me of one my Grandma painted years ago; sadly it broke the year after she passed away.
Your afghan is beautiful, it’s a wonderful tradition to do one every Christmas. Thanks for letting us in to visit your beautiful home!
Your decorations are very pretty! I especially love your Christmas plates! Be Blessed!
Very pretty decorating! I have one of those ceramic Christmas trees too. Someone in the family made it years ago in a ceramics class or something of that nature.
Wow! You’re very ambitious to make an afghan a year. That’s a great tradition.
Nice tour. Thanks for inviting us.
Merry Christmas!!
