I’m a huge fan of unit studies.

I’ve used them in our homeschool and now that I teach public school, I love to implement unit studies into my classroom.

Unit Studies have been a popular approach to learning in the elementary years of traditional public schools. Many homeschool families have adopted this method as well—not only because it allows students to study interesting subjects more in-depth, but also the variety of activities keeps them engaged due to the hands-on activities.

I like to use unit studies for centers and independent work while I’m working in small groups.
