We are well into February, and this is the time where I usually start slacking off on my new year’s health goals. However, this year I want to feel exceptionally well, because frankly last year was a rough year for me emotionally and physically.

So, I decided to make a difference in my overall health this year, so I can be the mom and new wife that God expects me to be.

Check out these 3 practical things that I do that is improving my overall health and energy level this year. You can start today! #NatureMade, #IC, #ad

I am getting married at the end of the month, so I will need some extra energy. LOL! Also, we are going on several trips this year, and I don’t want to look and feel like an exhausted whale.

After doing hours of research, I came up with 3 simple things or habits that I wanted to try to tackle daily that weren’t too terribly overwhelming for me. I’m a realist by nature and know only too well that it must be a no-brainer plan, or I would quit before the first week.

3 Things I do Daily that’s Improving my Health

Water Intake. I admit this sounds so simple but it isn’t for me when I get busy working and running here and there being the taxi-mom that I am. So, I made myself a deal. I must drink at least 3 bottles of water before I have my daily glass of wine. And we all know, a day without wine is a day without sunshine.

If wine isn’t your thing, you can make the same stipulation with a soft drink, or whatever floats your boat. It’s working wonders for me.

Vitamins. I’m a big believer in taking daily vitamins but often get lazy. So, I put my daily vitamins in a pill holder and take them with yogurt each morning to avoid indigestion. Nature Made vitamins can easily be purchased at Walmart in the pharmacy. It’s nice that you don’t have to make a trip to a health food store to get your Nature Made vitamins. When you are running low, you can just add them to your weekly Walmart grocery list without waiting for them to go on sale.

I chose Nature Made Vitamins because they are the nation’s #1 best-selling brand of quality vitamins, minerals and supplements* to help support your daily nutritional needs. Also, based on US News & World Report – Pharmacy Times Survey, Nature Made is the #1 Pharmacist Recommended Brand in Nine Categories. Wow!

Turn off Electronics. This is definitely the biggest challenge of the three daily habits. I love to read at night, but I realized that I have trouble falling asleep when I either read on my iPad or phone. So, for all late night book reading, I went back to a physical book. Call me old school, but it really makes a difference when I’m trying to fall asleep. My brain isn’t overstimulated with the lights of the electronic device.

These 3 simple habits have helped me feel more energized and has benefited my overall health. I’m sticking to these habits. It works for me.
