Why We Love Reindeer Chow
This Chex mix recipe can be prepared in your beloved microwave, so it’s safe for your kiddos to make by themselves and makes a tasty Christmas treat for gift giving. Not to mention, it’s wonderful and festive.
Storage Tips
Sometimes we put about a cup in plastic baggies and tie it up with a festive bow. This year we bought these cute little buckets at the dollar store. I also put this in my daughter’s snack mix while she is at school.
Substitutions and Additions
You can be creative and wrap it for any occasion and by making the mix with different color M&M’s, mini-pretzels, sprinkles, and peanuts.
Ingredients
- 3 c of rice Chex mix
- 3 c of corn Chex mix
- 3 c of Cheerios
- 3 c of pretzel sticks
- 16 oz pkg of M&M’s
- 3 pkg of white chocolate chips, 12 oz each
Recipe Instructions
In a large mixing bowl
Makes about 13-14 cups.
Super easy and makes a FUN snack for school teachers, Sunday school teachers, scout leaders, community service workers, and Santa and his reindeer.

Hi – do you know the shelf life of the Reindeer Chex Mix and do you know if it can be frozen?
I don’t know the shelf life, but it can definitely be frozen. I like to eat it straight from the freezer.
So delicious and easy. My 2 and 4 year old grandkids love it. Me too!
