Thank you, Kelli, for introducing me to this much needed encouragement in my daily walk. In fact, my dh and I were discussing the importance of memorizing scripture to our boys in the car last week. The boys can quote scripture better than my ds and I. Shame on me! So, in order for me to be a Godly example, I must practice what I preach.
This is my memory verse for the week….
1 Thessalonians 5:16
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
For more specific reasons I believe memorizing scripture is a must in training our sons, read this post.
Thank you, In the Light of the Truth, for encouraging me in my journey.
You are so welcome!! I am amazed at how God has used this verse to speak to me this week, He is so Awesome. How are you doing? Got it hidden?
1 Thessalonians 5:16… I still need to work on it a little more!
JOYfully in HIm,
Kelli
So glad you joined me this week! That’s so encouraging and motivating to me as some weeks I start to get lazy! May this be a blessing to your life!
That is really funny…I had just the other day posted a thing on memorizing scripture that my mom wrote up. It has been really helpful to me. My boys do great memorizing. They blow me away! Thanks for this great post.
