The Tokyo Summer Olympics are right around the corner. We have all been anxiously awaiting the start of these Summer Games since last summer, as they had to be postponed due to Covid. Thankfully, the worst of Covid is behind us, and we can enjoy a few weeks of friendly competition among the 205 participating countries.
I don’t know about you, but I do look forward to the Summer Olympics every four years. My favorite events include swimming, diving, and gymnastics. My husband loves to watch soccer tournaments and track and field, as well.
At the beginning of the games, we gather together as a family and watch the Opening Ceremonies and Parade of Nations together. The Opening Ceremonies are always a sight to see, and we are amazed by the program. It is also so much fun to see which nations are competing in the games, as well as their unique uniforms.
