I am going to share my trick with you on how to make perfect oatmeal.

And it’s not cooked on the stove!

The secret is that it’s baked in the oven.

I have six children and they all adore baked oatmeal and some even like slow cooker oatmeal, but none care for it when it’s cooked on the stove.

I believe it must be a texture thing.

I tend to make it much healthier than my husband, but the gang always prefers Daddy to make it on special occasions.

How to Make Perfect Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 3 c of Old Fashioned Oats
  • 6 oz of milk chocolate chips
  • 10 oz of Graham crackers, broken into crumbs
  • 3/4 c of light brown sugar
  • 2 t pf baking powder
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c of milk (I use Almond)
  • 1/2 c of butter, melted
  • 10 0z miniature marshmallows

Directions

Blend oats, chocolate chips, graham crackers, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Blend well. Whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter into another bowl. Add liquid to dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in all marshmallows except 2 cups.Pour mixture into a 9×9 greased baking dish and press evenly. Sprinkle remaining marshmallows on top, Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
