These easy, but delicious gumbo meatballs will definitely satisfy your hungry family. We love these meatballs served over rice.
I like to use the leanest ground beef that I can find to avoid the extra grease. If you don’t have lean ground beef, you can always just drain the grease after baking in the oven.
These delicious gumbo meatballs are so simple and can be made ahead of time. Just make the meatballs and freeze them. Then on cooking day, just cook in the slow cooker.

- 3/4 c of evaporated millk
- 1 10 3/4 oz can of French Onion soup

Combine meat, bread crumbs, and milk in a medium bowl. Form into one-inch balls. Place in an 13×9 baking pan. Pour soups on top of meatballs. Bake, uncovered for 1.5 hours at 350 degrees. Serve over rice.

I just usually serve this with a salad.
