The EASIEST Homemade Truffle Recipe!

blessed beyond a doubt affiliate disclosure2

When my mother disclosed her secret homemade truffle recipe, I couldn’t believe how easy they were.

Aren’t they simply gorgeous?

I’m going to be completly honest here. I have a major weakness when it comes to chocolate truffles. They are divine and melt in my mouth. I can’t seem to eat just one. However, they are a bit pricey.

So I begged my mom for her famous homemade truffle recipe that she makes during the holidays and Valentine’s Day. They are simply beautiful, but are insanely easy. You don’t even need to take one of those informative online classes to make these babies.

They are perfect for a bridal or baby shower. You can decorate them anyway you want, so be creative.

You can even food color the coconut to make it festive or appropriate for a baby shower. The options are unlimited.

So grab your apron and start getting busy.

The Easiest Homemade Truffle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of cream cheese
  • 3 c of powdered sugar
  • 3 c of semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 1/2 t of vanilla

Directions

Beat cream cheese and gradually add in powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in melted chocolate chips and vanilla. Take a spoonful and roll into a 1 inch ball, and decorate. Refrigerate for 1 hour  before serving.
