Character Study

During the school year, I incorporate character lessons in our daily school routine.  When we start our new school year, we will be working on Gratitude, with this awesome, free lapbook here. Janelle has done an incredible job putting all this together.  Check it out.

Some of my favorite resources to help build christian character……

Homeschoolhelper

The Hem of His Garment

The Family Blueprint

The CharacterJ Journal

We also will be implementing Character Sketches this school year, too.

Please feel free to list any other resources that have blessed you as a family in developing Godly character traits.

Looks excellent! I love the Character Sketches too. We used a math curriculum that had similar character studies, called Christ-Centered curriculum.

Keepers of the Faith have some character study books that sound great, but I’ve never been able to see or use one. For each character (ex. patience, contentment, etc.) they have a booklet to go through and a journal to record what you learned. If anyone has tried that I would love to hear about it.

Thanks for sharing my lapbook with others! I’d love to hear how it works for you when you get started. I also appreciate the links you shared; a couple of those were new to me. God bless you as you work to instill godly character in your children!
