I have to admit I was a bit skeptical with the title. We are very sensitive when it comes to anything that has the word magic in it.  I watched the The Magic Schoolbus: All About Earth with my children and did not find any mention of evolution.  The children and Ms. Fizzle go on field trip and the bus imaginary takes them to the designated location.  My children were well aware that this was imaginary.  However, if you do not allow your children to watch any type of imaginary movies, this DVD would not be a good fit for your family.

My children found this DVD very informative and interesting.  It was a hit!  There are 4 episodes on the topics of Seeds, Volcanoes, Air Pressure, and a bonus episode, on deserts.

I will be picking a (2)winners for the DVD, The Magic Schoolbus: All About Earth on Tuesday, April 24 at 12a.  Winners will be contacted via email and must respond within 48 hours.

FREE Language Arts & Craft with Jelly Beans!

Here’s a FREE Jelly Beans Easter Craft.  This looks FUN!

And throw a little jelly bean graphing in!  And call it a homeschool day.

Description:

Easter craft for your students to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection! Have your students write the poem on the writing paper, and glue the poem to Easter-colored construction paper. Then, either have your students color the jelly beans the appropriate colors and cut them out, or have your students cut out the already-colored jelly beans. Have your students glue the jelly beans, starting with the RED one in the top left corner, clockwise all around their writing paper.
